Phishing Email
There has been a serious influx of phishing attempts to HBCI customers in recent days. These attempts come in a multitude of forms, and all look very official. They even contain false 'contact' information for phone numbers and websites. If called the numbers are answered and the person on the other side immediately tries to get your real life contact information.
We are posting this information so our customers can avoid being infected or having their identities stolen or financial information taken.
The known email 'sources' (all false) are as follows:
- Amazon.com
- Ebay.com
- Newegg.com
- the IRS
- Overstock.com
- Priceline.com
